How to Disagree Productively

Teams often treat disagreement as a threat to harmony, yet avoiding it can hide weak assumptions. Productive disagreement begins by separating the shared goal from the proposed method. Two colleagues may both want a successful launch while holding different views about timing, scope, or risk.
